Pacific Institute for Professional Writing is a nonprofit created by literary professionals to educate today's authors, poets, playwrights, screenwriters and essayists through workshops, seminars and master classes.  The Institute believes in mentoring the next generation of young writers in the ways of the craft.

                           

Ventura County Writers Club, an educational organization promoting all forms of writing for all ages. Their motto is: To encourage the craft. The club was established in 1933.

                     

During June, the Ojai Writers Conference invites writers from around the world to Ojai for writing workshops offered by some of the best writing teachers on the planet!

The third annual Ojai WordFest is an eight day celebration of literary talent showcasing screenwriting, novels, nonfiction, poetry and other forms of writing. KKA produced "A Celebration of Words," the final daylong event at Libbey Bowl.
